About AMD: Connecting Creativity & Community
From a family of entrepreneurs, Adelaide was inspired to begin her own entrepreneurial journey when she started a tutoring business in college. With an iced coffee, a laptop and a dream of starting her own agency, Adelaide launched AMD Creative during her senior year at the University of Alabama and hasn’t looked back since.
Since 2017, AMD has helped over 800 clients grow their brands in various industries including hospitality, food and beverage, non-profit, lifestyle and more! Now as a fully remote agency with our base in Birmingham, AL, our team loves to travel and collaborate abroad as it gives us the opportunity to work with brands near and far, learn from new experiences and ultimately, fuel our creative passion. Composed of a dedicated crew of women across the United States and Canada, AMD is a one-stop shop for social media, branding and design services.

Founder, CEO
Adelaide is AMD’s Owner and Founder. Now in her 8th year of running AMD, Adelaide’s strong leadership and decision-making skills allow her to make the best choices as business continues to grow. Her strong suit is building client relationships – understanding their needs and exceeding their vision through her creative and intuitive design process.
Adelaide loves leading a team and helping business owners take control of their aesthetic look and content strategies. To keep her creativity fresh, Adelaide enjoys traveling abroad, meeting new people and collecting unique experiences and ideas along the way. To rest and recharge, she loves spending time with her huge family and exploring the outdoors. Every collaboration, challenge and conversation contributes to Adelaide’s creative work.

Creative Director
As Creative Director, it’s Mary’s responsibility to have a pulse on all client projects including providing edits and feedback. She also does an incredible job at maintaining AMD's internal branding and social media presence and aesthetic (very Libra of her).Mary has been drawing and painting since she was a kid, but she didn’t have any intention of becoming a designer until she took an Intro To Design class her freshman year at UAB. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree, majoring in Art with a Concentration in Graphic Design. From there, Mary got connected with Adelaide by a friend and started at AMD as an intern – talk about fate! Mary loves the collaborative work environment of AMD and her quick thinking and ability to provide honest feedback are just a few of the amazing qualities that allow her to bring clients’ visions to life.
When Mary’s not using her creative muscles, she’s using her other muscles to boulder. She enjoys thrifting, spending time with her pooch Naga and exploring local parks. She also loves the local food scene in Birmingham – catch her at the newest restaurant or bar in town!

Online Business Manager
Cody keeps AMD running like a well-oiled machine! As the team’s Online Business Manager, she’s all about creating streamlined processes, managing projects, and making sure operations run like clockwork. Since joining AMD in 2024, Cody has introduced workflows that help the team stay efficient & thriving—she loves being part of a team that values collaboration and growth.
With eight years of experience in sales, marketing, and technology, Cody discovered her love for client relationship management while working with tools like Microsoft Dynamics and Salesforce for national organizations. She saw the value in crm tools for small business, and has become an operational partner for small and mid-sized businesses to implement and optimize systems that make their work easier and more effective. Helping AMD elevate their processes has been one of her favorite roles yet!
Based in Toronto, Canada (eh!), Cody feels lucky to work with a global team from her laptop. A Virgo and organization enthusiast, she believes no task is too big with a little prioritization and creativity. When she’s not fine-tuning workflows, you can find her at the gym, diving into a good book, or hunting for the latest hidden gem café or restaurant in the city.

Digital Marketing Manager
Jes has over 12 years of hands-on experience working with incredible companies like yours in Digital Marketing, specializing in media buying, end-to-end campaign management, paid media and creative strategy. Working collaboratively with the team, her goal is to plan and launch the most effective paid media campaigns to achieve client goals and objectives.Originally from the UK, she moved to Toronto in 2018 where she continued to build her career in the area of Growth Marketing. Her passion for scaling small-medium business brands across paid channels has continued to grow and working with AMD is an exciting new chapter to collaborate with the amazing team to develop this.When she's not running campaigns, you'll likely find her exploring the world, and travelling to beautiful places. When she is at home, she is a reality tv queen, who loves to relax and stay up to date with all the fun Bravo TV shows!

Community Manager
Somer brings connection, creativity, and a whole lot of energy to her role as Community Manager at AMD Creative. She’s all about helping brands build real relationships with their audiences and turning followers into loyal fans through authentic storytelling and everyday engagement that feels personal, not polished.
Before joining AMD, she worked hands-on with lifestyle and hospitality brands, managing social media, creating campaigns, and learning how to grow communities that actually care. Her favorite part of the job? Seeing those genuine conversations and small moments of connection that make a brand feel human.
When she’s not online building communities, you’ll probably find her at the gym, on a soccer field, or spending time with her son. Staying grounded, active, and inspired for whatever comes next.

Copywriter
At AMD Creative, Sarah is your write hand lady (even though she's left handed). As our copywriter, she crafts brand voice guides and writes various kinds of copy, including social captions, blog, website copy, and email newsletters. Her mission? To help your brand stand in its spotlight online. She brings her background in performance and character development to the world of marketing, writing copy that sounds funky, fresh, and a lil profesh.
Sarah stumbled into copywriting in 2021 when she suddenly had a lot of free time on her hands for some reason... She was mentored by Emma Givens, and has studied with the Copyhackers and Wordfetti. Since then, she’s written for 50+ brands— from arts orgs to death care— and loves digging into an eclectic range of tones of voice.
When she’s not writing, you can find her watercolouring her fave spots from her travels, learning Italian (beh, ci sta provando), or performing in theatres across Canada.

Content Creator
Hi, I’m Lydia, and I consider myself a multi-creative. As a native Texan, I strive to bring big city energy into every project I create. Growing up, I’ve always had creative interests and loved pushing the limits to bring my ideas to life.
In my free time, I’m still connected to the creative world as an editorial photographer. Whenever I don’t have a camera in my hand, I love being outside exploring nature, trying new coffee shops, or making music!

Social Media Manager
As Social Media Manager at AMD Creative, Katie blends strategy, creativity, and analytics to help brands build communities that actually want to stick around. From content planning and campaign strategy to performance insights and day-to-day social execution, she’s passionate about creating content that feels human, sparks connection, and turns followers into genuine brand advocates.
Based in Louisiana, Katie has been immersed in the world of social media since graduating with her master’s degree — though truthfully, she’s been creating content and managing social platforms for years before it ever became her career. What started as a creative hobby quickly turned into a full-time passion, and she still loves showing up online both for brands and for herself.
When she’s not deep in content calendars or analytics reports, you can probably find her needlepointing, spending time with her dog Roux, or antique shopping!
